CashNow provides a platform that enables customers to sell eligible pre-owned electronic devices through our website and mobile application. This Return & Refund Policy explains how device returns, transaction cancellations, payment processing, and refunds are handled during the selling process.

Unlike traditional e-commerce platforms where customers purchase products, CashNow primarily facilitates the sale of used electronic devices. As a result, our return and refund process is based on device inspection, final quotation acceptance, and payment completion.

By scheduling a pickup, submitting your device for evaluation, or accepting a final quotation, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to this Return & Refund Policy.

Policy Scope

This policy applies to all transactions conducted through the CashNow website, mobile application, and authorized pickup services.

2. Device Return Policy

CashNow will return your device if the transaction is cancelled before the completion of the sale or if you choose not to proceed after receiving the final evaluated quotation.

Your device may be returned if:

  • You decline the revised quotation after inspection.
  • The device is found to be ineligible for purchase.
  • Required ownership or identity verification cannot be completed.
  • The transaction is cancelled before payment is made.
  • Pickup cannot be completed due to operational reasons.

Once the final quotation has been accepted, ownership has been transferred, and payment has been successfully completed, the transaction is considered final and the device cannot be returned.

Customers are advised to ensure they are satisfied with the final quoted amount before accepting payment and completing the transaction.

3. Price Revision & Quote Acceptance

The price displayed on the CashNow platform is an estimated quotation based on the information provided by you during the device evaluation process. The final purchase price is determined after physical inspection by our authorized representative.

A revised quotation may be offered if the device condition, model, functionality, accessories, or specifications differ from the information initially provided.

A quotation may change due to:

  • Physical damage not disclosed during evaluation.
  • Incorrect device model or specifications.
  • Missing accessories or components.
  • Functional defects identified during inspection.
  • Current market pricing and demand.

If you do not accept the revised quotation, you may cancel the transaction before payment is completed, and your device will be returned to you where applicable.

Quote Acceptance

Once you accept the final quotation and receive payment, the transaction becomes final and cannot be reversed except where required by applicable law.

4. Refund Policy

As CashNow primarily facilitates the sale of pre-owned electronic devices, customers generally receive payment for their devices rather than making a purchase. Therefore, traditional product refund policies do not apply to most transactions conducted through our platform.

Once a device has been inspected, the final quotation has been accepted, ownership has been transferred, and payment has been successfully processed, the transaction is considered complete and cannot ordinarily be reversed.

Refund requests, where applicable, will be reviewed only after verification of the transaction details and supporting documentation. Processing timelines may vary depending on the nature of the request and applicable banking or payment procedures.

Refunds may be considered only in exceptional circumstances such as:

After your device successfully passes inspection and the final quotation is accepted, CashNow will initiate payment using the selected payment method, subject to successful verification and operational requirements.

Payment Methods

  • UPI transfers.
  • Bank account transfers.
  • Other approved digital payment methods offered by CashNow.

While most payments are processed promptly, processing times may vary due to banking schedules, technical issues, verification procedures, or other operational factors beyond our direct control.

Customers should ensure that the bank account or UPI details provided are accurate. CashNow shall not be responsible for delays or failed payments resulting from incorrect payment information submitted by the customer.

Payment Verification

CashNow reserves the right to verify customer identity, ownership, and transaction details before releasing payment to ensure secure and lawful transactions.

6. Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel a scheduled pickup or transaction before the final quotation has been accepted and payment has been completed.

If a cancellation request is made before ownership is transferred, the device will remain with or be returned to the customer, subject to operational feasibility.

Cancellation may occur due to:

  • Customer request.
  • Failure to complete identity verification.
  • Ineligible or unsupported devices.
  • Operational or logistical constraints.
  • Suspected fraud or policy violations.

Once the final quotation has been accepted and payment has been completed, the transaction cannot normally be cancelled except where required by applicable law.

  • Sign out of all personal accounts and disable device locks where required.
  • Provide valid identity and ownership documents when requested.
  • Ensure the device is legally owned and eligible for sale.
  • Carefully review the final quotation before accepting payment.

Customer Responsibility

CashNow is not responsible for personal data, SIM cards, memory cards, accessories, or other belongings left with the device after it has been handed over.

Customers should back up important files before handing over their device. CashNow does not recover, transfer, or restore personal data once the device has been submitted for inspection or sale.

CashNow may update or modify this Return & Refund Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, business practices, legal obligations, or regulatory requirements.
